This policy outlines booking terms, payment options, cancellations, refunds, and course changes for training delivered by Midlands Training Ireland.

By booking a course, you agree to the terms below.

Booking Options & Payments

We offer two ways to secure a training place:

Full Course Payment

Participants may pay the full course fee at the time of booking, this guarantees their place in the course as long as the course minimum attendees.

Reservation Fee (€5)

Participants may reserve a place by paying a €5 non-transferable reservation fee.

• This secures a place temporarily

• If the participant later pays the full course fee, the €5 is deducted from the total

• If the participant does not complete the booking, the €5 is non-refundable

Attendance & No-Show Policy

Participants who fail to attend without prior notice will forfeit any fees paid at our discretion, including:

• Reservation fees

• Partial payments

• Full course payments

Late cancellations and no-shows prevent us from offering the space to other paying participants.

Cancellation & Refund Policy (Participant-Initiated)

More than 7 days before course date

• Full refund or

• Transfer to another available course

2–7 days before course date

• Refund at our discretion or

• Transfer to another course where possible

Less than 48 hours before course date

• No refund

• Transfer only at our discretion (exceptional circumstances only)

No-Shows

• No refund

• Full fee forfeited

Substitutions

A participant may be replaced by another person from the same organisation at no additional charge, provided we are notified before the course starts.

Course Cancellation or Rescheduling (Provider-Initiated)

If a course does not meet its minimum booking numbers or must be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, Midlands Training Ireland will provide reasonable notice, typically:

• At least 2–5 days’ notice where possible

• Immediate notice if cancellation is unavoidable due to emergency

Affected participants may choose:

• A full refund, or

• Transfer to the next available course date

Non-Attendance Due to Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that emergencies occur. Refunds or transfers may be considered in cases such as:

• Medical emergencies

• Bereavement

• Serious unforeseen events

Supporting evidence may be requested. Decisions are made at our discretion.

Workplace / On-Site Training

For on-site or group bookings, cancellation terms may differ depending on:

• Trainer allocation

• Travel

• Resource preparation

Specific terms will be confirmed in writing at time of booking.

Certificates & Late Completion

Certificates are issued only to participants who attend and complete the course.

Missed sessions cannot be certified.

Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Unauthorised chargebacks or payment reversals may result in revoked certification and restricted future bookings.
